Get Involved
For those of you thinking about getting involved...
University Theater is open to all current University of Chicago students. Each quarter presents an opportunity to get involved and start learning, making friends, and making art in our theaters! First years to fourth years make huge contributions to our co-curricular program each year.
Students participate in a variety of ways. From students employees, to actors, to student directors and designers, there is always room for more interested people.
Auditioning is one way to get involved. If acting isn't your interest, there are plenty of other positions available. Students production manage; stage manage; house manage; run crew; light, set, costume, and sound design; and direct just to name a few. Fill out this interest form or contact the University Theater Committee Chair for more information. You can also join the University theater listhost for more info.
