University Theater @ SARF
Learn more about UT from our representatives at the Student Activities & Resource Fair! You might even be able to score some sweet, sweet University Theater merch. The Dean’s Men (Shakespeare performance group) and Off-Off Campus (improv troupe) will be there as well. Learn more here.
Theater is a wild ride of a theater festival where students write, produce, direct, rehearse and perform short plays centered around a secret theme all in the span of 24 hours! Come see the culmination of their work, or signup here to participate! Tickets are $4 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Game & Trivia “Night”
Come chill with UT at our week-capping game and trivia “night”! All are invited, from first- to fourth-year; reconnect with old friends, and meet some new ones! Non-formal, just bring yourself and maybe even your brain. Capacity in Logan 028 is capped at 28 people, so depending on turnout, we may ask folks to rotate out of the room.
Hosted by TAPS, Project Day is a big quarterly event for the casts and crews of all the shows to meet each other, other performance RSOs, and TAPS staff. This year, it’s also doubling as an open house for new students! Feel free to come even if you are not on a show - it’s a great way to meet theater people and learn about the performance opportunities at UChicago!
Company Meets Company Bash!
Following Project Day, UT will be hosting an informal social gathering at the Point, accompanied by a bonfire! Come mingle with theater friends while relaxing at the best views Lake Michigan has to offer. Bring your own beverages and snacks.
We will continue planning events throughout the quarter! The best way to stay up-to-date on events is to…..
