Cast

Jonathan White (Peter) is a student in the college.

Ruby Ross (Kathy) is a fourth year Neuroscience major. Her previous credits include Chicago (Roxie), Rent (Maureen), Spring Awakening (Wendla), The Music Man (Marian), and Love's Labour's Lost: The Musical (Rosaline). She is excited to be a part of Company, her second UT musical!

Rebecca Husk (Joanne) is a fourth year Philosophy major in the college. Past UT credits include Grenadine (Prismatic), Matt & Ben (Ben Affleck), Mr. Burns, a post-electric play (Bart Simpson), and She Kills Monsters (Vera). Outside of UT, Rebecca sings with Medusa a cappella, performs with UChicago Commedia Dell'Arte, and is a ritual apprentice at Cabinet of Curiosity. Her favorite cocktail is a Boston Sour.

Angela Calabria (Marta) is thrilled to be playing the role of Marta, otherwise known as “the soul of New York,” in this amazing production of Company! As a fourth year studying Political Science and Cinema & Media Studies, Angela will be taking the stage for the first time in her college career. Better late than never!

Alisa Boland (April) is a third-year History major and she is very excited to be joining her first UT production. She has appeared in other UChicago student productions as a member of Off-Off Campus's Generation 32. Her post-high school credits include, First Love is the Revolution at the Steep Theatre (Assistant Dramaturg), Hawai'i Shakespeare Festival's Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), and Hawai'i Shakespeare Festival's Midsummer Night's Dream (Hermia). 

Julianne Lorndale (Amy) is a student in the college.

Maggie Reyes (Sarah) is a first year in the college and this is her first show with UT! She'd like to thank the cast and crew of Company for making her first quarter at UChicago so happy and wonderful. She's also curious about your favorite shade of white. 

Maddie Barnes  (Jenny) is a student in the college.

Rose Dimitroyannis (David) is a student in the college.

Hannah Paul (Susan) is a student in the college.

Robin Franklin (Bobby) is a student in the college.

Andre Castro (Paul) is a student in the college.

Liam Flanigan (Harry) is a second year in the College. He is a member of UT Committee, and his UT credits include Measure for Measure (Angelo), Machinal (Husband & Others), New Work Week, and Julius Caesar (Director). He is excited beyond words to be part of this wonderful show.

Kenjiro Lee (Larry) is a fourth year Political Science major. With University Theater: Peter and the Starcatcher (Alf), Weekend of Workshops (Writer and Director of "Peach Boy"), Grenadine (Puppetry Consultant). With The Dean's Men: The Winter's Tale (Puppetry Consultant). With Iris: The Bartender Scene (Max), Story Time (Conceived and performed "Peach Boy"), For Colored Girls... (Sound Designer). Previously directed TAPS Independent Production of Yellow Face. Will direct The Old Man and the Old Moon in the winter for UT.

Production Staff

Caitlyn Klum (Co-Director) is a third year English and Creative Writing Major. Select previous UT credits include: Machinal (Co-Director), The Aliens (Assistant Director), Much Ado About Nothing (Assistant Director), and Dry Land (Dramaturg). She also serves as UT Committee Secretary. 

Emily Lynch (Co-Director) is a fourth year English and Political Science major. Her previous credits include Machinal (Co-Director), The Aliens (Director), and As You Like It (Director).

Joe Henry  (Co-Vocal Director) is a third year Psychology and Computer Science major. This is his first show with UT but he has been involved in either choir or musical theater since first grade.

Juliana Freschi (Co-Vocal Director) is a fourth year Sociology major in the college. She sings in the Motet Choir and Dirt Red Brass Band.

Gareth Ramsey (Music Director) is a fourth year Music major in the college. This is his first production with University Theatre.

Alice May (Stage Manager) is a student in the college.

Mary Mouton (Production Manager) is a student in the college.

Paris Bezanis (Scenic Designer) is a fourth year student in the college majoring in Russian Eastern European Studies and Visual Arts. He has worked as a scenic designer on various TAPS projects in the past including Bodas de Sangre (Spring 19), Machinal (Winter 19), and The Aliens (Spring 18). He is a big fan of Hot Cheetos. 

Lillian Hermes (Costume Designer) is a third year biology major. Her previous credits include Twelfth Night (Costume Designer), Grenadine (Costume Designer), Animals Out Of Paper (Assistant Costume Designer), and Eurydice (Assistant Costume Designer). She is waiting for bell bottom jeans to come back in style. 

Marly Santora (Props Designer) is a fourth year Art History major. Her UT credits include Twelfth Night (Props Designer), Machinal (Props Designer), and Measure for Measure (Props Designer). She is also a member of UT Committee.

Fred Dan (Co-Lighting Designer) is a third year Economics and Visual Arts Double major. His previous UT credits include Fun Home (Lighting Designer), A Streetcar Named Desire (Lighting Designer), The Aliens (Lighting Designer), Philoctetes (Co-Master Electrician), Love’s Labour’s Lost: The Musical (Master Electrician), Next to Normal (Assistant Lighting Designer). His favorite gel is R52 and his favorite lighting fixture is the Aura. No other outstanding features. 

Eric Karsten (Co-Lighting Designer) is a fourth year majoring in Math and Economics and getting an MA in Economics. He is involved with University Theater, Oeconomica, and the technical staff of the Logan Performance Hall. His past credits include: Machinal, LEAR, Mr. Burns, a post-electric play as Lighting Designer, Next to Normal, Richard III, and Animals Out Of Paper as Master Electrician, and After the Revolution as Assistant Lighting Designer.

Gigi Hancock (Co-Sound Designer/Assistant Props Designer) is a second year Geophysics major. Her previous credits include Machinal (Assistant Sound Designer), Fun Home (Assistant Lighting Designer) and Twelfth Night (Assistant Props Designer). She is super excited to work with this team again and can't wait to see the show.

Ro Redfern-Taube (Co-Sound Designer) is a second year Public Policy major in the College whose previous credits include Julius Caesar (Co-Sound Designer), Twelfth Night (Duke Orsino), Machinal (Sound Designer), and Measure for Measure (Assistant Sound Designer). Ro is extremely thrilled to be a part of Company’s phenomenal cast and crew! Happy birthday, Robert!

Giovanna Hooton (Dramaturg) is a fourth year TAPS major with a Linguistics minor. She vocal directed Fun Home last year and currently is the president of Unaccompanied Women, an a cappella group on campus. She is very excited to work with these brilliant and lovely people on Company

Willem Finn Harling (Associate Director) is a second year in the college, majoring in Gender and Sexuality Studies and Theater and Performance Studies. Previous roles include Lucio in Measure for Measure and Malvolio in Twelfth Night. They are a member of UT committee and he loves littlebaguettes.

Lynneah McCarrell (Assistant Stage Manager) is a third year Neuroscience major. Her previous credits include Eurydice (Assistant Director) and Commedia's The Dentist (Stage Manager). She works hard, naps often, and is very excited to sing the songs of the show quietly to herself. 

Teddy Sandler (Assistant Scenic Designer) is a student in the college.

Julia Fennell (Assistant Costume Designer) is a first year whose major remains undecided. She also assisted with costumes on Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and is playing the Duke of York in Richard II (CES). 

Clare Kemmerer (Assistant Props Designer) is a student in the college.

Stella Shiffrin (Assistant Lighting Designer) is a student in the college.

Christine Yan (Assistant Lighting Designer) is a student in the college.

Cameron Bernstein (Assistant Lighting Designer) is a student in the college.
